The Colorado Christian University (CCU) Cougar’s baseball team plays their home games at the almost 20-year old Keli McGregor Field at All Star Park in Lakewood, CO. They play in the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference), an NCAA Div II league.
After a thirty year hiatus, the Adams State Grizzlies baseball team began play in their newly constructed (2013) Adams State Baseball Field adjacent to the lacrosse/soccer and softball fields. The Grizzlies baseball team play in the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference), a Div II NCAA member.
The New Mexico Highlands University Cowboys are a part of the Div II RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference). Nestled in the small town of Las Vegas, NM, the baseball team calls Harold K. Brandt Baseball Field their home. Brandt Field, as it is locally known, received renovations in the late 2000’s with a new clubhouse and dugouts, and a pleasing new stone backstop.
For athletics, the Regis Rangers are more known for its basketball achievements than its baseball success. Even so, the baseball game day event is a delightful afternoon experience. The baseball program began in 1969 and has been a part of the Div II RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) since then.
Set in a historic, outdoorsy, lively neighborhood, it is worth checking out the Jim Darden Field (Colorado School of Mines) on a warmer Colorado winter/spring day from February to early May. Then spend some time visiting Golden and experience all it has to offer.
The Roadrunners last RMAC baseball tournament championship was in 2002. The baseball team used to play at Auraria Field across from the Pepsi Center. In 2015, the team moved to the newly constructed Regency Athletic Complex at Metro State University Denver, which houses not only baseball but softball, tennis, and soccer.
