Chukchansi Park (formerly known as Grizzlies Stadium) is host to the PCL (Pacific Coast League) minor league baseball Fresno Grizzlies as well as the USL (United Soccer League) Fresno FC. The Fresno Grizzlies are currently (2018) the AAA affiliate of the Houston Astros.
Originally known as Coleman Park, Sand Creek Stadium, and Switchbacks Stadium, Weidner Apartment Homes acquired the naming rights of the venue in 2017. Weidner Field, home of the USL (United Soccer League) Colorado Springs Switchbacks since 2015, provides an exemplary venue in which to watch a soccer match. Adjacent to the Sky Sox MiLB team and Security Service Field, Weidner Field is a soccer-specific stadium and is separate and not shared with the baseball team, though some of the parking areas are common.
In the mean time, the city of Colorado Springs provides many sites to see and visit for your stadium journey vacation weekend or week.

The Rockford IceHogs are the AHL (American Hockey League) affiliate of the NHL Chicago Blackhawks. They began their hockey endeavor with the now defunct UHL (United Hockey League) in 1999. The IceHogs spent eight seasons in the UHL, transitioning to the AHL in the 2007-2008 season. The IceHogs negotiated a 10-year affiliation with the nearby Chicago Blackhawks in March, 2007. In October, 2017 it was announced that the Colorado Eagles would become the 31st AHL team beginning with the 2018-2019 hockey season. Advancing leagues is not new to the Colorado Eagles. They began play in the now defunct CHL (Central Hockey League) in 2003. The team transitioned to the ECHL (the “double A” league of hockey) at the conclusion of the 2010-2011 season. And next season, they’ll advance again to the AHL (American Hockey League), the “triple A” league of ice hockey in North America.
