Weidner Field – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC

Originally known as Coleman Park, Sand Creek Stadium, and Switchbacks Stadium, Weidner Apartment Homes acquired the naming rights of the venue in 2017. Weidner Field, home of the USL (United Soccer League) Colorado Springs Switchbacks since 2015, provides an exemplary venue in which to watch a soccer match. Adjacent to the Sky Sox MiLB team and Security Service Field, Weidner Field is a soccer-specific stadium and is separate and not shared with the baseball team, though some of the parking areas are common.
In the mean time, the city of Colorado Springs provides many sites to see and visit for your stadium journey vacation weekend or week.

They began play in the now defunct CHL (Central Hockey League) in 2003. The team transitioned to the ECHL (the “double A” league of hockey) at the conclusion of the 2010-2011 season. And next season, they’ll advance again to the AHL (American Hockey League), the “triple A” league of ice hockey in North America.
