EverBank Field – Jacksonville Jaguars

Everbank Field has been the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars since their expansion season of 1995. When the stadium opened, the Jaguars were the first expansion team in sports history to play its’ first game in a brand new stadium. It was built on the site of the old Gator Bowl Stadium, and has continued in the former stadium’s role of hosting the University of Georgia-University of Florida game each season, as well as Jacksonville’s post season bowl game, now known as the TaxSlayer Bowl. In 1995 it hosted Super Bowl XXXIX. The stadium now holds 64,428.

Tiger Stadium – LSU Tigers

Built in 1924, with an original capacity of just 12,000, LSU’s Tiger Stadium has seen its fair share of remodels and renovations. But even with all of the changes throughout the years, it has never lost its charm. The most recent renovation to Tiger Stadium was completed in 2012 and included 66 luxury suites, 3,000 Club Level seats above the south end zone and 1,400 general public seats in the upper deck. This addition, which was funded privately through the Tiger Athletic Foundation, brought the seating capacity to 102,321 making it the sixth largest college football stadium in the nation.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium – Atlanta United FC

The 2017 season marked the inaugural season of Atlanta United in the MLS and the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The team played the first half of the season in Georgia Tech’s Bobby Dodd Stadium while their new home pitch was completing construction. Their temporary home provided a great launching point for the franchise, as a record 55,000 attended the first game and the team maintained an average attendance of more than 45,000 in their remaining games at the college stadium. In early September 2017, the team moved into its permanent home at the brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta. For the first time, the team has its own on-site locker room, training facilities and coaches offices.

Melaleuca Field – Idaho Falls Chukars

In the world of travel, Idaho Falls is known as one of the gateways to Yellowstone National Park, attracting families throughout the summer who use the town as a base for exploring all of the incredible natural scenery in the area. For those more interested in sports travel however, the destination is the city itself, more specifically Melaleuca Field, home of the Idaho Falls Chukars of the Pioneer League.

Atlanta may be college football’s biggest market, and Georgia Tech resides in the heart of it. Opening its doors in September of 1913, Bobby Dodd is the oldest FBS stadium in the country and definitely has a classic college football feel to it. Like something out of a “rah-rah” 1920’s football film, this place makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time.
