I have actually been to all these stadiums and the list is pretty accurate. The only few I strongly disagree with is Great American Ballpark being so high and Nationals Park being so low. Besides their Skyline Chili, I would rate Cincinnati one of the lesser experiences. They have a bad neighborhood, bad fans and the park, for being so new, has nothing special about it that distinguishes it from other great parks. If I were ranking it compared to others I would probably put it in the high teens low 20s. I also think that though it also has nothing special, and the location sucks, there is no way that Nationals Park is worse than the Oakland Coliseum and Rogers Centre, especially if you go to the "worst seat in the house" and check out the view where you can see all of Washington DC from.

Apart from that, I agree pretty much with the locations of every place on the list. I love Turner Field and I'm glad that Stadium Journey is giving it its due. It has everything a sports fan would want in the stadium, a huge area behind to congregate pregame, eat, drink, a pep rally goes on back there, great baseball and you can always get a cheap seat and move down.

Thanks for the comment. I agree that Miller Park is a great place, especially for families or baseball tailgaters. What's your list of best ballparks?

you guys obviously don't know how to rate ballparks. The fact that Miller Park wasn't atleast in your top 10 is proof that you guys were high on crack. Arlington ballpark is a dump and I'm so sick of people giving so much credit to Wrigley and fenway simply becaus they are old. Both stadiums are basic, unattractive stadiums. Wrigley is such a dump that you can smell the urine through the pipes from blocks away. Apparently its been that way since the 70s. Anyhew sorry I wasted my time with this site.

fail, just fail. no real, supportive evidence for most, only a paragraph (or even a sentence for most) on likes and dislikes that most fans either a) already know or b) don't care about. Don't quit your day job.

It's astonishing that you went to all of these ballparks and came up with such an asinine list. The importance of neighborhood is silly - why would I care if the nearest thing to the stadium is a Walmart a mile away? I'm there BECAUSE OF THE GAME. Jeez. What a waste.

Access to Fenway a negative? Nobody drives to Fenway...nobody. That's pretty widely known. Take the T and save $30-$80 for parking. It's very easy to get to by bus, walking and the T. Did the actual talent of the team matter in the results?

Your main criteria seems to be neighborhood and food, 2 things that should be afterthoughts - what does this have to do with the experience of watching a ballgame live? Of the stadiums I've been to I could not disagree more. Busch Stadium, despite being very new, has absolutely no charm and is wholly unspectacular. Citi Field, which was partly modeled on Busch, is an improvement and Nationals Park is better than both, with its spanning concourses and cool huge scoreboard. Not to mention you seem to be putting it low on the list because of the neighborhood, which happens to be the nation's capital and includes national monuments - which stadium can match that? And Miller Park is by far the nicest stadium I've ever been to and even before the renovation Kauffman Stadium was beautiful. Your list sucks.

At first glance this appeared to be one of the worst ballpark rankings ever composed. Then I read some of the reviews and there are some ok reviews in here, just the grading system is terrible. Eating was factored into food & beverage, Neighborhood, return on investment, and sometimes extra points. And the actual baseball game was lumped into atmosphere and fans. If you took the time to re-evaluate them based on the actual baseball game experience (sight lines, seating room, amenities, condition of the stadium) I think there would be a much better list and then add on the food and attractions in and near the stadium. Just something to consider.

I agree with the rest of you. Most fans go to the games to watch the game and walk around the ballpark. Maybe you should change this list to the best cities or neighborhoods surrounding the ballparks.
